I see advertisements all the time in my everyday life.  It is estimated that the average adult sees 3000 advertisements everyday.  Car insurance advertisements vary greatly but all intended to persuade the viewer to pay for their insurance.  Geico uses humor in their advertisements while other car insurance companies try to persuade consumers by being serious to convey reliability.  I have started to see a lot of political advertisements with the election coming up.  Most political advertisements i see are aimed to support a candidate while putting down another.  Restaurant commercials tend to either entice one with mouthwatering pictures of their food or with good deals.  I saw a BK commercial today that shows their new burger sizzling on the grill.  I also saw a dominos commercial that showed their new cheesy bread with cheese pouring out.  Both commercials put me in a more hungary mood.  Many advertisements have a   catchy tune playing in the background which gets stuck in my head a lot making me think about the advertisement frequently.
